Filippo Mazzoli

I am a Whyburn Research Associate and Lecturer in Mathematics at the University of Virginia, my mentor is Prof. Sara Maloni. I recently defended my Ph.D. thesis at the University of Luxembourg, under the supervision of Prof. Jean-Marc Schlenker. Previously, I studied for my Bachelor and Master at the University of Pisa.

My research interests are mainly in Differential Geometry and Geometric Topology, in particular in the study of 3-dimensional hyperbolic and AdS geometries, and their connections with Teichmuller theory.

Here you can find a copy of my Curriculum Vitae.
